A veteran of Bishop Street's boardrooms, Wesley T. Park knows the importance of local values in doing business in the Islands. In Lessons Learned on Bishop Street, his follow-up to the best-selling Lessons Learned on the Corner in Kalihi, Park dispenses wisdom with applications from the smallest mom-and-pop store to the biggest boardroom on Bishop Street. These are simple lessons offered in the form of homespun adages learned through Park's experience of climbing from the bottom rung, as a youthful trouble-maker in Kalihi, to the top of Honolulu's corporate ladder, leading some of Hawaii's most successful companies.
