Synopsis

Shaolin #1 is the premier kicking form of the Northern Shaolin Style. Of the ten forms which constitute the Northern Shaolin Style, this is the most dynamic and challenging. The step-by-step photos make this an excellent reference. Learn this unique and advanced form with the help of your own instructor, or learn it from Rick Wing himself. Sifu Kisu (also known as "Master Piandao"), noted for introducing the "Firebending" art of Northern Shaolin in the TV series, "Avatar: The Last Airbender," has written a foreword for the book, and is himself a devoted adherent and lifelong practitioner of the Northern Shaolin Style. Get ready, get stoked, and then get winded as you practice this traditional form. This is a special form of the Northern Shaolin Style, as well as the inspiration for the "Firebending" art of the "Avatar" series. You WILL practice this set. Best of luck to you all!
