About the Author

DeBora M. Ricks is an author, speaker, relationship guru, writing coach, publishing consultant, radio and TV personality, producer, and proud mother. She has worked more than a decade with abused and battered women as an attorney, advocate, coach, and counselor in the criminal jus- tice and civil systems. She is passionately committed to helping women take charge of their lives, heal after a breakup, and let go in love. She has also worked three and a half years in a residential drug and alcohol program helping men and women untangle their legal issues. DeBora is the editor of more than ten books, nonfiction and works of fiction. In 2010, she did her first book reading and signing in Paris, France.
