From an author related website: "My name is Wayne (Wirs) and for much of my life I worked as a software engineer sitting at a desk eight hours a day writing code to help huge corporations run their business. Yet at the same time, I was also a very serious spiritual practitioner following the traditional Eastern path of meditation in my quest for enlightenment. Fading Toward Enlightenment, a book I am both the photographer and author of, describes my efforts, the setbacks I encountered, insights I experienced and ultimately finding inner peace from the lessons learned."
