Synopsis

"The Holy Spirit's prompting was like fire in my bones, I had to share it or burst." That's what Jim Biscardi said about producing this book. "Fire in the Soul" is a collection of articles he's written over the last three years for two monthly Christian newspapers in the New York metro area. It also contains excerpts from his other four books. Jim is President of New Jersey Christian Ministries, which for nearly 50 years, with hundreds of instructors, has been a vibrant teaching arm of the Body of Christ, equipping thousands of Christians for making disciples. This book inspires, educates, and challenges us in six major areas: Faith, The Church, Our Spiritual Life, Wounds from Within, Our Future Heavenly Home, and Study of God's Word. It also gives us an in depth topical index for researching 80 other important subject areas. "Fire in the Soul" is literally saturated with Scripture along with metaphors that make deep thoughts easier to understand and remember. Jim uses such things as "spiritual vitamins" to describe how God transforms us, the "valupak" of Christ's values to describe Christlikeness, riding a bicycle to describe the Christian life, and much more.
