Synopsis

"Fascinating, inventive stories from a stunning new talent. You'll remember these futures." -- Robert J. Sawyer, Hugo Award-winning author of Hominids Suppose something happened to you that you know can't happen. You witness an event and time runs backward to where it started. You remember the future. Thinking you can affect what will happen, you find another surprise awaits you. Monsters from your childhood turn out to be real, their nature beyond anything you could imagine. Now they are coming for you, and there is no way to stop them. Your work on an ancient alien artifact plunges you into permanent déjà vu. Sanity ebbs as time goes by. Your only hope is to solve the mysteries of the relic before your mind slips away. A special room enables you to outperform your competitors. You choose not to share the room, confident that you don't need anyone's help. You realize your mistake, but are you too late? A hole in space hidden behind the far side of the moon allows you to journey to other worlds. If you can find your way home, then you think all will be well. Instead, a nightmare begins. Many universes, time travel, and seemingly impossible situations are explored in fourteen chilling stories that will stay with you long after you have finished reading them.
