About the Author

Elizabeth Donald is a writer of dark fiction, of novels and short stories ranging from horror to paranormal romance to science fiction. Her first novel, NOCTURNAL URGES, was published in 2004 and went on to win the Darrell Award. It also was a finalist for the Prism Award and came in fifth out of 188 paranormal novels in the 2004 Preditors & Editors Awards. The second book in the NOCTURNAL URGES series was titled A MORE PERFECT UNION, published in September 2005. Both are currently available from Cerridwen Press. Her short stories and essays have been published both online and in print magazines, including Thirteen Stories and Panorama Magazine. An anthology titled SETTING SUNS is coming soon from New Babel Books. By day, Elizabeth is a reporter for a Midwestern daily newspaper that shall remain nameless to protect its good reputation.
