Includes a short biography of Doc Holliday, a detailed examination of The "Buntline Special" Colt controversy, and introductions by Elmer Kelton, Leon Metz, Loren D. Estleman, and Robert G. McCubbin. Profusely illustrated. The first volume is Number 29 of 100 presentation copies signed by Lee Silva on a special bookplate affixed to the front flyleaf and additionally inscribed by him on the verso of the same leaf, with his business card laid in.
