Corner Stores in the Middle of the Block, is a hilarious and thought-provoking collection of poems that addresses his personal encounters with females and his appreciation for the Venus-natives. In "The Oblique Hints," Blue succumbs to the treasures of his lover. "The Oblique Hints" are her seductive curvature that seduce him and keeps him wanting more. Although his inspiration stems from his experiences in the Big Apple-like in the three-part poem, "The Urban Look"-people from anywhere and everywhere can relate, whether he is speaking to you about lusting over a woman on a cool summer day or about the emptiness of Hope...

About the Author
Brad Bathgate aka Blue is the author of “Corner Stores in the Middle of the Block,” a collection of original poetry and short stories. His work has appeared in The New York Daily News, New York Newsday and The New York Times News Paper. He has performed at the Nuyorican Poet’s Café, The Bowery Poetry Club, The Poets House and The Poetry Project at St. Mark’s Church in association with Cave Canem Poets.
