Here is one of the most delightful and enjoyable books you will ever read. The stories tell of the joys of teaching, of parenthood, and of the difference one person can make in the life of another. You'll laugh, you'll cry, and you'll want to share this book with teachers, parents, church leaders, and others. Based on the author's 30-year career in education, he shares the joys, the frustrations, and the challenges facing us today. In addition, you'll cling to every word as he relates how a sixth-grade teacher made "all the difference" in his life. Jordan, who speaks to scores of audiences each year, has become one of the most sought-after speakers. His writing and his talks are filled with humor one moment, and pulling at your heart-strings the next.

Riney Jordan is a former teacher, principal, school public relations director, and assistant to the superintendent… all over a 30-year period in Grapevine-Colleyville ISD, a suburban school district near Dallas/Fort Worth. His school district honored him by naming him their “Teacher of the Year.” Two communities have honored him as their “Citizen of the Year.” The Texas School Board Association and Texas School administrators honored him as the “2000 Texas Key Communicator of the Year,” and the Texas Legislature recognized his work by passing a resolution honoring him as an exemplary Texas. Jordan is an inter-national speaker who presents regularly to businesses, schools, medical groups and civic organizations. His stories are filled with humor, yet are often touching and heartwarming. He has currently presented over one-thousand keynote speeches and workshops across the country. In addition to his regular monthly feature in the prestigious Texas School Business magazine, Jordan has been published in numerous journals and newspapers. His first book, All the Difference, is now in its ninth printing. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Howard Payne University and a master’s degree from the University of North Texas. Riney and his wife Karen live on a small farm in central Texas with 13 chickens, a homeless dog named “Buddy” and a stray cat named “Cefco.” They are the proud parents of three children and twelve grandchildren, and have the hope of more adopted grandchildren in the near future.
