Justin A. Young is a 17 year old senior at Lyons Township High School in LaGrange, Illinois. In 2010, he went through a bout of depression that would send him on a downward spiral for years with an attempt at taking his own life. Through strained relationships, increased academic struggles, and many other negative experiences, this poet’s journey was born. This booklet of poetic verses, “A Poet’s Journey,” was written out of those dark times and published by the grace and restoration of God’s and a family’s love.
