Fashioned of sturdy cardboard, this gorgeous set of 10 nesting blocks has beautifully illustrated images of numerals. The numerals feature funky primary hues and unique designs. Anyone can build a tower almost 3 feet tall; the blocks are large and stable. Each panel depicts a numeral from 1 to 10; the same number of spots; drawings of the same sum (of mice, apples, or dog bones, for example); and an assortment of familiar animals. Curiously enough, each animal features markings equal to the numeral on their block. It's a beautiful, fully stacked set; the tower and its vibrant colors almost belie the fact that the blocks are designed for children.
