About the Author

Born and raised in Bernardsville, New Jersey, Steve Tourdo began playing tennis at age ten and gave his first lesson at sixteen when he agreed to teach a local businessman. Success as a junior player landed him the New Jersey State Interscholastic Singles Champion and a tennis scholarship at the University of Nevada. After college, Steve gained world rankings in both singles and doubles on the professional circuit. Now a popular tennis professional in Marin County California, Steve has founded the Unlimited Tennis Training Center located in San Rafael where he has a large following of recreational players who are his ongoing doubles students. His doubles groups focus on blending fluid movement with tactical prowess to win matches and have fun.
