Synopsis

On Edge is a novel about urban professionals discovering who and what they truly are. The characters pull the tarps off their souls as they face issues of the nineties -- racism, sexism, homosexuality, religion vs., spirituality and the need for a supporter system -- while discovering their true selves. The main character, Emma Kurtai1, an attorney, has many material things but is dissatisfied with her life. When a close friend becomes seriously ill, it prompts Emma to look inward and began a journey of self discovery. When she discovers her truths, those around her are required to stand in frightening ways.
