Synopsis

What do an ex-FBI agent and an ex-exotic dancer have in common? Missing Exes! The latest thriller from the author of Cuban Contraband.

Jana Wilson and her boyfriend Rey have drifted apart. When he and their yacht, the Miss Jana, disappear, the police say he took off to get away from her. “He’ll show up one day,” they said.

Because he never takes the boat out alone, Jana is certain that someone hijacked the Miss Jana and she believes Rey is in grave danger–if not dead. Frustrated with the cops, Jana reaches out to Alexander Christian, a part-time private detective and full-time beachcomber, who helped them out of a previous jam.

With nothing more than an empty boat slip to go on, Alexander investigates the disappearance of the Miss Jana and discovers that she is headed for the Caribbean. When South America becomes a likely destination, he recruits the only Spanish speaker he knows - his ex-girlfriend - who wants nothing to do with him.
