From the Inside Flap

Marsha Dodson and Darlene Willis have carefully woven together their personal experiences as parents and founders of a College Bound Program with answers to frequently asked questions that often remain unanswered. They candidly remind parents of their God-given responsibility to teach, guide and nurture children. This book gently admonishes against entrusting the learning process solely to the local school. On the contrary, it does not release teachers, principals, administrators and elected officials from being accountable. Dodson and Willis have compiled a gem for parents, students, educators and anyone interested in making sure that children receive a quality education. They are pioneers in organizing parent groups to work in conjunction with local school districts.
