Synopsis
This is the first Journey book (first published in 2001) of the Journey book trilogy. In addition to containing 24 Honoree profiles, this book includes a History chapter, Founder's chapter, Word from the Publisher, and a special chapter focused on American Kenpo's most famous black belt--Elvis Presley. This first Journey book contains approximately 300 photos (many historical), approximately 100,000 words of text, and 25 portraits drawn by Kenpo's premiere artist, Edmund Parker. This is a must for all practitioners of Ed Parker's American Kenpo and is required reading in many schools for upper belts.
