From the Author

This is a mega-cool book
I know that I'm biased, but I honestly believe that "Bebop BYTES Back" is a really cool book -- suitable for beginners and experts alike and of interest to anyone from 16 to 99 years of age -- there’s literally nothing else like this available on the market today. The book is accompanied by a CD-ROM containing a fully-functional virtual computer called the "Beboputer" (pronounced "Bee-bop-you-ter"), and amongst a myriad other things the book documents a series of step-by-step interactive laboratories for you to perform on the Beboputer (each lab is equipped with a multimedia overview on the CD-ROM, which contains more than 200 megabytes of mega-cool multimedia).

If you wish, you can bounce over to our web pages (http://ro.com/~bebopbb) where you can find more details about the book and screenshots of the Beboputer.

Also note that there are some special web pages that you can only access from within the Beboputer, from whence you can communicate with us (the authors), enter competitions that we’ll put up from time to time, and download additional programs and subroutines and suchlike.
