About the Author
Michael D. Whitley is the author of a number of books, including Bright Minds, Poor Grades: Understanding and Motivating Your Underachieving Child. He is a nationally recognized psychologist specializing in helping children, teenagers and adults overcome underachievement and discouragement. He wrote Bright Minds, Poor Grades to help parents "have strong, healthy, competent children who know how to bring a sense of joy to their accomplishments."
