Rave Reviews for Princess Jessica Rescues a Prince
"It's time little girls had some better role models in the storybooks they read. PRINCESS JESSICA RESCUES A PRINCE features a heroine with adventures and a mind of her own. She doesn't spend her days longing for a prince to carry her away and create a life for her"---WASHINGTON TIMES "Princess Jessica Rescues a Prince is a story about a young princess who must use spunk, courage, and intelligence, not violence, to rescue Prince Ryan from an evil wizard."----NEW YORK FAMILY This immense-sized volume has a wise story and full-color illustrations that cheerfully capture the scenes. The story teaches quite a few lessons about bravery, dejection, and the inspiring nature of music."---KIRKUS REVIEWS

From the Author

Today parents want smart, strong role models for their girls
Little girls love beautiful princess stories. Fairy tales send powerful messages to girls that last for a lifetime. We need more stories like "Princess Jessica" that teach young girls that a heroine doesn't need to wait her whole life for a prince to rescue her (unrealistic we know, but grown women learned this as girls and are still waiting!-divorce after divorce). "PJ" loves dressing up, as all little girls are beautiful no matter what their size or color, but she also has many other interests. In traditional fairy tales the princess thinks only of "romance." Prince Ryan and PJ become great friends, but marriage is delayed until they are older!
