Jean Reist Stark has been a goldsmith and teacher for over 30 years. She co-founded the Kulicke-Stark Academy of Jewelry in New York City, and has taught at the Parsons School of Design. Ms Stark currently teaches workshops around the USA and makes jewellery for contemporaries using ancient techniques. Her work is exhibited in museums and galleries around the USA. Josephine Reist Smith is a retired Professor of Biological Sciences.
