The author signed on the title page. White cover; text; b/w photos, maps, and other illustrations; a fold-out map. The top and bottom edges of the spine strip are wrinkled. DJ: The top end has a 4 in. x 3 in. piece missing. Seven closed tears are up to 2 3/4 in. Three of the tears have tape on the printed side. The end of a fold has a 3/8 in. chip. Crease lines are along part of the top end. The front panel and a fold have stains, most of which show only on the reverse side. Scans e-mailed upon request.
