Glen Phillips was born at Southern Cross, Western Australia in 1936. He has spent his professional life in various tertiary institutions, educating others to write and to teach. His most recent books are: Shanghai Suite (2009), Singing Granites (2008) with Anne Born, and Contrary Rhetoric (2008). Glen is internationally published in several languages and is Director of the Landscape Centre at Edith Cowan University.
