Synopsis
Chris Ambrose had just graduated from university, but he wasn't ready for full-time employment and the so-called `real world'. Not yet anyway. First he wanted to see the real world! So on the 20th November 2008 he set off on an eight month, round the world adventure.
Eighteen days later and he was home.
This is the first-hand account of Chris' journey, from his initial unsuccessful attempt at travelling that saw him end up in a Thai prison cell, to a more successful four and half month trip following the popular backpacker route across Singapore, Australia, New Zealand and South America.
This humorous account depicts the trials and tribulations of travelling; from hostel accommodation and endless bus journeys, to spectacular scenery and high-octane adrenalin sports. He even experiences the bizarre spectacle that is rabbit shaving!
