Synopsis

Patterns of Hope is a unique, self-sustaining charity project, brought to you by the Bob Turner Memorial Trust and Valley Press. An anthology of hopeful, life-affirming poetry, every copy sold pays for up to three more copies to be donated to a UK hospice, which they then sell to raise much-needed funds. So effectively, by spending six pounds on a book, you are donating £18 to charity; a wonderful idea which VP is proud to be a part of.

Conceived and compiled by Scarborough-based poet Sylvan Rose, the collection features a foreword (and poem) by Yorkshire's finest Ian McMillan, as well as contributions from a dazzling plethora of talented poets.

Review

I applaud Sylvan Rose for this anthology. These are delightful poems and I am sure people will be moved by them, as well as finding solace. --Sheila Hancock
