ALL UK PARCELS SENT TRACKED! ALL OVERSEAS PARCELS SENT AIRMAIL, TRACKED! (S/hand, Hardcover, 2011). 2011 1st edition. 4to (185 x 257mm). Ppxviii,379. Colour photographs throughout, end-paper map. Laminated boards simulating a battered old leather binding. Slight use but a very good copy of the first edition. "In carp fishing terms, the history of Horton Church Lake is relatively short, a mere two decades which, when compared to the likes of Redmire, Wraysbury, Darenth and Yateley makes it barely a teenager. But in that time, its place in the pages of English Carp fishing has been written many times. The Horton Chronicles has been written by a few of its anglers glad to tell their stories of the good times, and bad times too. You will laugh, maybe cry but most of all you'll want to read the stories from start to finish." Contributors include; Johnny Moult, Stuart Rothwell, Martin Gardener, Darren Ward, Chris Pearson, Alan South, Robbie Stoddard, Steve Mogford, Tony Badham, Peter Bond, Simon Lavin, Garry Bond, Del Smith, Garth Ecclestone, Ben Musselwhite, Matt Eaton, Martin Pick, Dennis de Wilde, Barry Meeuwissen, Kevin Winter, John Beacher, Dave Slowen. The cover (matt laminated boards) represents a facsimile of an old leather-bound journal, complete with disintegrating spine. The publishers stated that this edition was limited to only 1000 copies. These sold out very quickly on publication. A second, revised, edition, titled The Horton Chronicles - The Banned Edition was published later in 2011. This, too, was limited to 1000 copies. .
