In the wake of small businesses getting strangled by extremely expensive accounting software which also have most of the accounting bodies in their clutches, Yogesh Patel, who is also a qualified optometrist and Dispensing Optician, decided to do something about it. He went on to qualify in accountancy with distinction becoming a Fellow of the International Association of Bookkeepers (IAB). He now runs his own accountancy and consultancy business. AN entrepreneur he is also a published and award winning poet, writer, journalist and broadcaster. With books, films, dictionaries, radio plays amidst others to his credit he teaches and trains businesses in bookkeeping. He has tested many accountancy software and is an authority on the subject.
