Synopsis

This is the story of six women of a certain age, close friends and constant companions, who, on a whim, decide to buy a house together, to act as a source of interest and income in their active years, and as sheltered housing for them as they, inevitably, become more infirm. The story of the women, the story of the house, and the author’s wry, witty, idiosyncratic observations on all she sees, make this a book to savor, to linger over, to laugh out loud at, and above all, to share.

About the Author

Teri Raley has lived in Southern California all her life, and worked for many years running her own marketing agency with her partner, and husband, Devlin Raley. She is a woman of boundless creativity, from making six-foot-high glass mosaics to whipping up thirty-five individually crafted invitations for a bridal shower—and everything in between. Her imagination, her vivid perception, and her relish for language have all come together to make this, her first book, something very special.
