Synopsis

About the Author

H. Rider Haggard (1856?1925) was a prolific writer of adventure novels set in far-flung locations. His stories continue to be popular and influential to this day. Anthony Lejeune is the editor of The Concise Dictionary of Foreign Quotations and the author of White's: The First Three Hundred Years.
