Then, in 2007, John Smith discovered this volume of research work undertaken by his mother. He donated a copy of the typescript to the Richard Jefferies Society, and noted that: "Though time has moved on, at least the material will act as a snapshot of the state of Richard Jefferies studies at the time, and of course, she might have filled a gap in the knowledge by accessing sources now unavailable." This is indeed the case, and the book adds some very valuable information to our present body of knowledge about the writer. Multiple copies available.
