Born in Surrey, England in 1956, David grew up in the small Berkshire village of Sunningdale and attended the two local schools: Holy Trinity and Charter s Comprehensive. Electing to join the Royal Navy, he left school at sixteen and served his country for the next twenty-eight years. His naval career moved through engineering to weapon control systems, and into information technology. Educated to post graduate diploma level, David was promoted through the ranks; culminating at Lieutenant Commander in 2000. Now retired from the Royal Navy, David has been an I.T. consultant for over six years working mainly in central London. The father of three children, David and his wife, Ann, have lived in and around Fareham in Hampshire for about twenty-five years.
