Synopsis
Please Take One...is a call to lead a more generous life, to maximize our life not our income. With inspirational chapters on happiness, poverty in the UK and globally, plus the environment, it includes some great stories, quotes, facts and proactive 'steps' everyone can take to lead a more generous life. All author-profits of the Please Take One* book sales go into the registered charity, Rainmaker Foundation, which last year raised over £1million for a number of great causes in the UK and abroad, and directly helped increase the impact of over 50 charities across the world. Mike Dickson co-founded the children's charity Whizz-Kidz, and is the Founder of the Rainmaker Foundation. He is also the author of the book about giving, The More You Give, The More You Get. Mike advises companies on how to develop effective and inspiring partnerships with charities, plus advises charities on how they can increase their impact and become more effective. He lives in West London with his wife and two children.
