‘Darren Bloke had always dreamed of being rich, and one day his dream came true. What he hadn't imagined was that for every problem his windfall solved, another set of problems would spring up. Before long, he'd lost his wife, his children, his friends... everything but his dog Skittle. But help suddenly arrived, in the strange form of a man who had been dead for a hundred years. The spirit of the writer John Ruskin burst into Darren's life, whisked him off on a trip through time and space, and showed him the real nature of wealth and poverty... in other words... HOW TO BE RICH!
This comic book exploration of the social ideas of John Ruskin has been hugely popular in schools and with visitors to Ruskin's home, Brantwood. Now available to the public for the first time.
