About the Author

Markus W Gehring is lead counsel for trade, investment and competition law
at the Centre for International Sustainable Development Law (CISDL),
lecturer in European and international law at the Centre of International
Studies, University of Cambridge and a fellow of Robinson College. Jarrod
Hepburn is legal research fellow in the Trade, Investment and Competition
Law Programme at the CISDL, and is associated with Mallesons Stephen
Jaques, Australia. Marie-Claire Cordonier Segger is director of the CISDL,
a fellow of the Lauterpacht Centre for International Law at the Faculty of
Law, University of Cambridge, head of international affairs at the Ministry
of Natural Resources in Canada and author/editor of 10 books on
international law and sustainable development.
