Synopsis

The Puncs is a witty and original series of seven books about a group of characters who do not want to be forgotten! Each character introduces young people (7+) to a written punctuation sign by representing the meaning and usage of these signs in everyday life through their individual and unique cartoon character traits. You will not be surprised to learn (will you?) that Quentin was a nosy parker from the day he was born. Wherever and whenever and however there are questions to be asked, you will find him - won't you? ? ?

About this title

Review

...eight, nine and even 10-year-olds who sampled our set enjoyed them and hopefully picked up a few punctuation points along the way. Younger children will enjoy the books simply as funny stories, entertainingly illustrated. Yes punctuation can be fun - just don't tell the politicians. --The Examiner, 15th March 2005

(The) Puncs make a mark. --TES, 7 January 2005

This...is an easy to understand, brightly illustrated book that gives understandable examples of punctuation and teaches children the correct use of punctuation in a lively, interesting and witty way. --Liverpool Echo, 26 October 2004
