This work introduces the first theory of the specific molecular processes which created the origin of life. The theory contains a revolutionary form of logic, from which the structural laws of the universe are deduced. By defining consciousness in physical terms, it solves the mystery of the origin of life and also unifies quantum and relativity.

The Quantum Secret of Life
"The Quantum Secret of Life" is a work of science, but also includes chapters on philosophy and logic. It constructs the first unification of physics, biology, psychology and linguistics. It also unifies the branches of physics with a unified theory of quantum and relativity in which the force of gravity is included. This results in the first quantum physical theory of the specific molecular processes which created the origin of life. The new science stems from a new philosophy of science in which the main emphasis is on a principle of asymmetry, unlike contemporary philosophy, with its sole emphasis on symmetry. A revolutionary logic is formulated which includes a new ontological logic, by scientifically defining the concepts of reality, truth, logic, law and fact, as well as laws of causality, energy, entropy, particle, organization, consciousness, experience and life. Entropy is defined, not as a measure of chaos, but as a measure of organization. Consciousness is defined in terms of a set of invariant time-ordered relations between the supramacromolecular interactions which they organize. This solves the mind-matter dualistic philosophical problem. The evolution of the organization of the universe, creating the hierarchical levels of particle, atom and molecule is deduced to be casually deterministic and to necessarily produce the evolution of prebiotic and biotic systems. The origin of life was the result not of chance, as in Darwin's theory, but of necessity, because of the inevitable formation of consciousness as the defining feature of all living systems. Biological evolution is the evolution of consciousness and its physically organized bodily evolution. By extending and amending existing quantum theory, it is deduced that Man, too, did not arrive in the universe by chance but is the necessary product of the deterministic evolutionary process, being its ultimate and highest level of consciousness. Contrary to Darwin's selectionist hypothesis, no favourable mutation can occur by chance but must be caused by a new experience in the life of the organism. It is the living process of the organism, not mere randomness, which determines the progressive evolution of the species. Though the book's content is specialized, it is nevertheless accessible to a general range of readership, because the mathematics is not difficult. It is philosophical to an appreciable extent and the physics is simply and comprehensively explained to the biologist; so it is not solely a work of specialized science.

Seller: Sell Books, Elland, YORKS, United Kingdom
paperback. Condition: Good. Our good condition books are generally good for reading but not for gifting or collecting. They could have imperfections such as creasing, fanning, inscriptions, margin notes, yellowing, staining on edge or cover or pages, bumps, scuffs, etc etc (sometimes multiple of these). It's a wide category that encompasses anything that isn't almost-new down to anything that is slightly better than poor. We would NOT recommend gifting Good books - these should be considered reading copies. Our books are dispatched from a Yorkshire former cotton mill. We list via barcode/ISBN so please note that the images are stock images and may not be the exact copy you receive, furthermore the details about edition and year might not be accurate as many publishers reuse the same ISBN for multiple editions and as we simply scan a barcode or enter an ISBN we do not check the validity of the edition data when listing. If you're looking for an exact edition please don't order (at least not without checking with us first, although we don't always have time to check). We aim to dispatch prompty, the service used will depend on order value and book size. We can ship to most countries, see our shipping policies. Payment is via Abe only.
