From the Back Cover

It was a hard life for a schoolboy at Bannisters. The headmaster had a very loud voice, the teachers were eccentric, and the school bullies unavoidable. There were also girls to contend with. The unlikely hero of the tale was none other than Cornwall Trembleweed. His name was unusual and so was its origin. However, it would need a special teenager to solve the riddle of the Diachronic Rubicon. Men with great minds had already failed to do so. Thus young Cornwall was thrust to the fore, and it was his job to save the world. Fortunately he didnt have to do this alone. He had the help of many friends whom he made on the journey. This was an adventure filled with pathos, satire, humour, and romance. It all took place in a magical land where nothing was what it seemed. The riddle unravelled, as Cornwall met the famous and infamous from Britain's past. Surely these men would know the answers, to the mysteries of life? However there were also forces trying to thwart him. The teenager would not give up in his quest, and learnt great powers. Despite many difficulties, there was always help at hand from The Wizards of Wight. They hardly ever put a spell wrong, or so he hoped. Even when things went awry, there was always a good joke to keep him going. This brought the quest to its curtain dropping finale. The book may be satirical, it may be a comedy, it may be a fantasy, or it may be a love story. Only the Wizards of Wight know the real truth.
