Synopsis
"The Almanach de Gothais" the ultimate authority for the genealogies of royal and princely houses of Europe and their descendants, and has been since it was first published in 1763 in the Duchy of Saxe-Coburg Gotha. It did not appear for the fifty-four years during which the duchy was part of East Germany, but publication was resumed, in English, in 1998. It includes updated information on births, marriages, deaths and dissolutions, changes in family headship, and private addresses. There is also a fuller index listing Gotha family entrants, their spouses and in-laws by name. This is the 186th edition.
