About the Author

Rakesh K. Sondhi BSc (Hons), MSc, MBA, MInstMgt is a practising strategist with 16 years experience in many industry sectors including aviation, financial services, agricultural machinery and food. His engineering background developed an analytical and questioning mind which he has successfully utilised for solving strategic level problems. He has lectured at Henley Management College on many aspects of strategy for MBA programmes and other senior management workshops. He has also worked with The Open University and Aston University. As a consultant, Rakesh has advised numerous companies all over the world including South African Airways, Singapore Airlines, Gulf Air, DHL, British Aerospace, Peregrine Investments, Muller Dairy Foods, The World Bank, British Airways, Thames Water and The Government of Bahrain. His approach to strategy is based on being pragmatic in analysis and creative in identifying solutions.
