The cover depicting the Clapper Bridge over the North Teign River on Dartmoor is from a water colour by a distinguished local artist...a taste of things to come and there is a delightful surprise, the poem Winsford Hill has been set to music by local composers. The score is found in the back of the book, a haunting melody which lingers long after it is heard. Look out for Mr Fox who also makes an appearance...a little gem.
