Synopsis
One hundred and fifty years ago, the first two graduates from the School of Engineering received their professional awards from the University of Dublin. Thousands were to follow and be launched on careers which would take them to the far corners of the earth. Many graduates have served the community as members of the engineering profession, many others have applied their skills and knowledge to other fields of endeavour. This is the story of that School, its staff and students, its struggles and achievements, and its constant pursuit of excellence in teaching and research in engineering science.
