Month by month, over the years, Jocelyn wrote a letter to his parishioners in which he tried to put into words the high drama of the Church's year. He found stories from years ago and parables of our own days to illustrate time-honoured truths from Christianity. Taking the reader into his confidence, he imparts something of his enjoyment and wonder at making fresh discoveries of God's love in Christ, which he wants to share with us, his dear friends. Jocelyn was born in 1921 and passed away in 1996.
