This book represents the best and most unique graphic art relating to microbreweries. While predominately focused on beer labels it also covers logo artwork of some brewpubs that do not bottle their beer. This book is divided by countries internationally, with major concentration on the breweries of the United States.
The dissertation deals with the history of microbreweries worldwide, and focuses on the artistic influences seen in this new genre of graphic design. How the designers in various parts of the country have dealt with the design problems, as well as worldwide influences on design, are all found in this title. Charles Finkel wrote the introduction, Thomas Olejar provided the overview of each region and the book was designed by Spencer Drate and Michael A. Koltz.
