Synopsis
The mythology and history of Ancient Egypt as the origin of many of the most common Western myths, such as Lost Atlantis, Adam & Eve and the Fall, the Flood of Noah, as well as the Eleusinian Mysteries of Greece. The book gives historical and prehistorical details as to the origins of the Egyptians themselves and covers some of the most important dynasties, such as the 12th and the 18th. It also devotes seven chapters to the origins of most of the Gospel miracles and stories. Much of the information contained in this book comes from the writings of the 19th century British genius, Gerald Massey, whose discoveries were far beyond the reach of his contemporaries and was therefore ignored during his lifetime.
