Synopsis
Designed as a reference work for English-speaking people who have already completed a beginning-level Esperanto text or course, this work includes answers to questions rarely treated in elementary texts. It addresses variations in usage, common mistakes, evolving tastes, levels of style, and other features of contemporary Esperanto as it is actually spoken. The first half is a reference grammer, the second an alphabetical list of individual words and expressions likely to trip up the English learner. Both halves contain extensive examples, and always with English translations. Light-hearted tone and occasionally very funny examples invite casual reading of the book in addition to its role as a reference work. This edition also has a convenient index.
