About the Author
STEVEN R. RAYNER is the co–founder of the consulting and training firm Belgard, Fisher, Rayner, located in Portland, Oregon. He consults with clients across North America and Europe in the areas of High Performance Work Systems. Rayner s clients include Aetna, Allied Signal, Apple Computer, Corning, Goodyear, Shell, and Monsanto. Steve is a regular speaker at professional societies, including the Ecology of Work, the Association of Quality and Participation, and the American Production and Inventory Control Society.
