About the Author

Message of the Sacred Buffalo is Marci Lynn McGuinness' 25th published book. She has written ten books on the rich and colorful history of southwestern Pennsylvania, including her popular Yesteryear pictorial series. Recently, she wrote the script for Yesteryear at the Uniontown Speedway (boardtrack) and is working to have it produced as a feature film. McGuinness spends her time running Shore Publications along the water, enjoying her family and friends, traveling, and hiking with her Jack Russell Terrier.
