Synopsis

"The rattling and clacking of gun hammers being drawn and locked in place rippled through the ranks. The emigrants turned at the sound to face their executioners. 'Do your duty!' commanded Higbee. In less than two seconds nearly fifty rifles belched death." Joel Deaton eluded the bloody massacre and now it's payback time. With vengeance in his heart he returned to the scene of the heinous crime seeking retribution and the recovery of what is rightfully his. An eye-for-an-eye, a tooth-for-a-tooth, said the Good Book. Deaton wanted a head for a tooth, a soul for an eye; and he was hell-bent on getting both.
