Review

?I read Mojo Hand shortly after it was published and liked it tremendously. Today, while putting the finishing touches in my own novel, I picked it up again and found it just as real and humorous and solid as it was when I first read it? Alice Walker ?I should have written to you to tell you how much I thought of your book... Your language - their language - is simply fabulous? Henry Miller ?A work of genius written by a girl of twenty - too rich a mix for the time in which it appeared, with its superb ear of black street talk, and insider?s knowledge of the blues...this novel is destined to become a classic? Carolyn Kizer
