Synopsis
Way back in the Ozark Mountains is Mt. Judea, AR-population less than 50, counting the dogs. A place where folks still gather on the front porch "of an evenin'" and reminisce about bygone days. Days when "Ozark Monk" and his faithful "yellow cur", Danny Boy, roamed the hills and hollows. Days when the town supported four country stores, a school, a cafe, lumber mill, and a blacksmith shop. One of the weathered, old stores remains, standing empty-a mute testimony to when folks gathered there to whittle, spit, and spin yarns. But you can still wander down to the creek and listen to the wind whistling through the valleys-and you almost can hear Monk hollering, "Bring 'em to me, Danny Boy!" This is the second book by Howard Jean "Ozark Monk" Hefley. Once again Howard teams up with brother James Carl in this sequel to the best-selling Way Back in the Ozarks.
